Indeed, the SSP forum does rule . Rules for the SSP forumThere aren't really many rules, as I tend to just let people get on with it. Basically, just don't spam, don't be nasty to people for no reason, and don't do stupid things, for example, posting 'I was here' on the calendar will result in a dropping of your karma level, repeat offences can and will get your account disabled. But generally I'm laid back.

EDIT: It got me wrong! It said I was on Mozilla/Netscape 5. I'm actually on Konqueror. That's not even based on Mozilla!

Opera is actually the fastest browser for the Microsoft Windows XP platform. And it now comes with no adverts.

When you're done could you possible test my secure VNC-through-SSH server?

I'm about to start writing the disc, if it works and I can boot into MEPIS then possibly, I may be able to test it.

Mepis is bleep-ed up. I put the CD in, turned the laptop on... 'Loading Stage 2' appears... Then a fancy boot screen appears with different modes of Mepis... I selected Normal mode... Then it tried to mount //dev/something00 on //linux and it failed miserably. So much for an OS of the 21st century... EDIT: I think it would be easier to install Linux on a dead badger

You did try with different options, and you actually read the error? Also, MEPIS is the buggiest Linux distro known to man. Get Debian or Kubuntu.
