Information
Finally! Stick Territory Alpha Alpha 3 is ready! And on Christmas Day! This version has some major improvements over Alpha Alpha 2, most notably:
- Graphics
- Menu system
- Collision improvements
- Unlimited fps
There are lots of other small optimisations, but those are the general improvements
Please note that, like AA1 and AA2, this release is not a game. This is Alpha Alpha software and should be viewed as a Tech Demo, not a game. There is no game. You can walk around the map, and that is what it is demonstrating.
Controlling
In game, Use the Left and Right buttons in the panel to walk, or the Left and Right keys on your keyboard. Use the Jump button or the Spacebar to jump. The Done button is now blanked out. The Next button moves on to the next player. The Help button is now blanked out, the Quit buttons exits to the menu screen. Use F1 to enter windowed mode and F2 for full screen mode.
In the menu screen, follow the menu system to begin playing. Do NOT select AI for any players, as that loop does nothing, and you will have to close the game. Press Escape or the Quit button to exit. Press the Next button to change to the old style menu screen background, or to change the background. The Help button is now blanked out. Use F1 to enter windowed mode and F2 for full screen mode.

If any of the following don't work, feel free to post anyway you think it is appropriate, or email me. The address is at the bottom of this page
Windows executable
This is what most users will want to get. This includes a statically linked binary for use on most Windows computers.

Linux executable
Almost nobody should get this. This is unlikely to run even on Linux. Try it, by all means, but I recommend the Linux source one. This is a statically linked binary (no Allegro required), but it probably will not work for you. Starting at AA3, there are now shell scripts to aid execution. However, they were written on Christmas Eve (the day before the release), and the easiest one only works if there is only one copy of Stick Territory, and it is in your home directory.

Windows source
This is the source code. It is not platform specific, but this does not contain shell scripts, or the OpenOffice spreadsheet and it does contain the Dev-C++ project files.
