Information
Finally! Stick Territory Alpha Alpha 2 is unleashed to the world! This version has some major improvements over Alpha Alpha 1, most notably:
- A map engine
- Collision with the map objects
- Movement is better calculated
- Strange lines on the menu screen have gone
There are a lot more improvements, and the collision took me weeks to work out and even put me off the whole project at one point.
Please note that this release is not a game. This is Alpha Alpha software and should be viewed as a Tech Demo, not a game. There is no game. You can walk around the map, and that is what it is demonstrating.
Controlling
In game, Use the Left and Right buttons in the panel to walk, or the Left and Right keys on your keyboard. Use the Jump button or the Spacebar to jump. The Done button moves on to the weaponry section, but as there is no weaponry section yet, it freezes. The Next button moves on to the next player. The Help button does nothing yet, the Quit buttons exits to the menu screen. Use F1 to enter windowed mode and F2 for full screen mode.
In the menu screen, press Return to begin playing, press Escape or the Quit button to exit. Press the Next button to change the menu screen background. The Help button does nothing. Use F1 to enter windowed mode and F2 for full screen mode.

This is what most users will want to get. This includes a statically linked binary for use on most Windows computers.

Linux executable
Almost nobody should get this. This is unlikely to run even on Linux. Try it, by all means, but I recommend the Linux source one. This is a statically linked binary (no Allegro required), but it probably will not work for you.

Windows source
This is the source code. It is not platform specific, but this does not contain shell scripts, or the OpenOffice spreadsheet and it does contain the Dev-C++ project files.
