This thread is for anybody who is wishing to compete in my informal TORCS robot programming competition. You can post here about your progress or when you want to exchange bots with someone for a race.
My robot is coming on OK. I have been following Berniw's robot tutorial and it is surprisingly easy. It has just come 12th in a race of 20 and I haven't got on to the advanced stuff or figuring out the best line (it just drives in the middle of the track). I have added an aggression factor, as well. To make it go faster. Unfortunately, it can get over aggressive and take out its anger on the walls.

My bot is faster than me already. And I'm only half way through the tutorial, and I know how to improve the steering algorithm! You're going down, Max!
